Lonnie Danel was recently honored as the 2008 Water Operator of the Year at the California Rural Water Association’s Education & Exhibitor Expo in South Lake Tahoe on April 29, 2008.  Lonnie’s nomination for the award was endorsed by the WCCSD Board of Directors, Josh McKnight of Trinity Valley Consulting Engineers and Tony Wiedemann of the CA Dept. of Health Services.  Based on their letters of endorsement, Lonnie was chosen among nominees from all over California by CRWA’s management panel for his achievements, endeavors, and accomplishments over the last 30 years for the WCCSD.  Congratulations!
